Our daughter was born on June 14th at 10:57 am.  She weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and was 18 in long.  Her name is Tawney Faith.

Thank you for walking through this process with us, for just being there to talk to, for listening and encouraging us  when our hopes were down.  Everlasting Adoptions was wonderful, not only to us but also to our birth mother who told us she felt very special as we all walked through this process together.  Again we would like to say Thank You!!!!!!

I want everyone to see how happy we all are in this photo!  We not only were blessed with our son Jake, we were blessed in meeting and loving another very important person in our life, his birthmother.    At the start of this whole adoption process, we had many fears, doubts and unanswered questions about how we should feel, act, or communicate with someone that will potentially give us the most important gift of our life.  Carol told us early on that there is a special birthmother out there for us and that when we would find her, we would know.  She encouraged us to keep an open mind and not be afraid or disappointed if conversations with different birthmothers did not follow through.  She was right!I would like to encourage all of you waiting or thinking of adopting to please hang in there! Our Everlasting Miracle  

We were matched with a birthmother in just 5 months; however, her decision to parent left us facing a sad reality…Do we press on, or do we give up on our adoption plan???? Carol stayed optimistic and supportive during our indecision; she is an EXCELLENT sounding board and VERY professional. Most importantly Carol and her team became exactly what we needed and more.  They are an advertising agency for you! But they are also a guardian over your fears and a protector of your dreams for parenthood. We were successfully matched again 5 months later!!!

So in 10 months we touched on every emotion imaginable, but Carol made the goal of adoption foreseeable. Lots of Prayer, Lots of Hope…our son Ryan was born July 7th, and we brought him home 5 days later. Thank you Carol and the Everlasting Adoption Team

Dear Carol and the Staff At Everlasting Adoptions  

Just wanted to let you know that last Friday, Kiarra flew to South Dakota with Chelle to join her new family. For Lucia and I it was heart breaking, but at the same time, it was comforting to know that she will have a new life with a family who will love her, care for her and nurture her on her journey into adulthood. For this, we are very grateful. Chelle arrived on Wednesday and we spent the day together on Thursday. Thursday night was tough with Kiarra asking us to sing her favorite songs, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” from Vavao (Lucia) and “Somewhere over the Rainbow” from Nana (me). She was so excited about moving and actually started writing her new last name and referring to Chelle and Nate as Mom and Dad. With backpack on and Lil, her little stuffed dog in her arms, she boarded the plane. We held it together, barely, but there were lots of tears once she was out of sight. We have emailed back and forth and she is having lots of fun, doing new things, playing with her new siblings and cousins and letting us know she “really misses us.” We do wish to thank you so much for your help in finding Kiarra’s new family and supporting us through something that we never thought we would get through. There are moments that the sadness is overwhelming, the house almost too quiet, but then we find solace in knowing that Kiarra is exactly where she should be and we will always be an important part of her life. Our Everlasting Miracle  

We signed up with Everlasting Adoptions at the end of January.  Three months later we were picked by a birth mother and Kade was born 3 months after.  I think that pretty much sums up our experience with Everlasting!  Carol with Everlasting Adoptions followed through with every obligation that was in our contract.  The adoption took place in NV which was a first for Carol so I had to do most of the leg work to find a good attorney and agency to abide by Nevada Laws.  Thanks to the birth mom, this experience couldn’t have been better.  We have a wonderful relationship with the birth  mom and speak to her weekly. We cannot thank Carol and her staff enough for all they did to bring our baby boy to us. It is because of Carol and her dedication to helping people find their everlasting families that brought our son home. We started our adoption process in August 2009 and only five months later we were driving to pick him up.

Talking to Carol on the phone was very comforting. Every time a referral came our way and didn’t work out it was heartbreaking and I would doubt our decision of adopting domestically. That is when Carol would say when the right child comes, we will know it and that is exactly what happened. She always knew what to say to make me feel better.

Every time I called Carol she would always answer the phone, night or day, weekday or weekend. The most amazing part of our story was that our son was born in the state we live in and the social worker at the hospital contacted Carol in California and told her that she was the only agency that answered the phone on that Saturday. It was for that reason that our son is now home with us.

When the birthmother signed the papers, Carol was one of the first people I called because I knew she would be as excited as we were to hear the news. I wish I lived closer so I could hug her and thank her for all she did for us.

If I could convince my husband to adopt a third child, I would not think twice about using Everlasting again.

It's a surreal thing writing my own thank you letter. I remember just last year when a child of our own seemed like this distant unreachable dream. We searched through numerous adoption sites looking to find the "right one" and read these very letters. We were actually already in the process of signing up with a large national company, then we talked to Carol and knew we were switching. She was so easy to talk to, cry to, and tell all my "crazy" adopting mom fears. I didn't know at the beginning of our journey just how much I would appreciate working with people who have adopted themselves. They get it like others can't. You held my hand through it when I needed you and let me be a control freak when I needed to. This is why we will come back to you and adopt again. I sometimes look at my precious baby girl and can't believe she's real. Then she starts to cry and I have a diaper to change and Ryan's hurrying to fix a bottle-- and in this chaos I smile because I realize we are finally a family. For this I thank you. Here's a picture of our baby Landon! He's perfect in every way! He only kept us up for about 2 hours last night!
