We have not met yet, but welcome to our home. After a hard day's work, coming home into our neighborhood we get to enjoy the soothing views of boats on the ocean. Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac of thirty homes nestled amongst the evergreens. We have five bedrooms and your child will have his/her own room. There are plenty of kids in the neighborhood and we have a big yard with a swing set, sand box, basketball, and we can set up volleyball, badminton, or croquet. Within our area, there are many events to visit, from sausage and kite festivals, to beach volleyball and hydroplane races, to name a few. Yet our community still has a small-town warmth. Our surrounding neighborhood has several beaches, sometimes we walk there just to enjoy the sunset or to make s'mores. Our area has many parks within walking distance, offering access to hiking trails, wading pools, sport courts, ball fields, tennis, swimming, animal petting zoos and so much more. We live in an area where there are many good public and private schools available.
Our Extended Family
Family and celebrations go hand in hand; we love the laughter and joy we all share. From spring to winter, any event can quickly become a special occasion when our siblings living nearby come to join in on the fun. Diana’s sister and her family especially enjoy the beach with us, with all the events such as volleyball and the lighthouse. We always carry our kites, waiting for a breeze. Paul’s twin brother and his family live close so sporting events are always a fun event to share. By far the most popular destination for us and all the local relatives and friends is the beach. From boating and fishing, to volleyball and beach barbeques friends and family all love the gatherings at the beach. We have great fun with our extended family and we look forward to exposing your child to a wide variety of events, cultures, music, sports, professions, and performing arts; to allow them to find the activities that are most interesting and enjoyable to him/her. As we prepare a room of his or her own – a place of dreams, stories, play, hugs, understanding, and support – we have so much love to give. With our extended family being so loving and giving, they are overjoyed about us bringing a little one into the family. Our family looks forward to sharing our hearts and home with your child.
Our Family Traditions
Birthdays are week-long events, with surprises each day during the week and a full-blown party with cake, family, food and presents on the weekend. Holidays are so much fun for our family and none is bigger than Christmas. The Christmas season always begins with the annual gingerbread house party. The holiday season continues with music festivals, holiday parades, and finally the annual tree, which is unique every year. The trip to the pumpkin farm has become an annual Fall event. We would love to share our traditions and family life and we would cherish every moment.
What Led Us To Adoption
As we pursue adoption we are passionate about the opportunity to share our lives with another. Adoption was our first choice to extend our family. The hopes and dreams of our family are very sincere, and we can’t wait to share our love, our home, our family and our life. We feel that family is a blessing, adoption is a wonderful gift and parenting is an honor, so we are very excited to embrace adoption again.
