Gender of child interested in adopting:No Preference
We want to thank you for taking the time to review our personal profile and considering what we have to offer in raising a child. We are Johnny and Misty and our desire to have children runs deep. We cannot have our own so the decision to adopt was fairly easy. To be able to love, protect, and nurture a child would be the greatest privilege. And with God's help we will be good grounded parents for a baby girl or boy. We can't imagine what it's like to be in your shoes. You must be a brave, loving and unselfish woman. We want you to be assured that your child, if we are chosen, will have lots of love and laughter in his/her life. We have a large extended family that is just as excited as we are about bringing a new life into our home. Thank you again, for considering us to be adoptive parents for your precious child. Misty & Johnny
We are blessed to be part of a large extended family full of great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. We are strong in faith, and we love to have fun and laugh. We have a lot in common with each other. We both love history and travel. We have been to many historical sites. We love the zoo, bowling, movies and spending quality time together. We love music; from country to easy listening to Christian. We attend a Non-denominational church where we serve as greeters.
We live in a wonderful neighborhood that has a community swimming pool and park. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a large backyard just waiting for a swing set. There are lots of children in the area as well.
Our Extended Family
We are very close knit with our extended family. We enjoy family reunions and getting together as often as we can. We try to never miss important events. Johnny and I each have a sister. Johnny has a grown son from a previous marriage and I have 2 nieces.
Our Family Traditions
Christmas is our most favorite time of the year. We love traditions. Our tradition is to decorate the Christmas tree at my parent's home every year. We can get rather silly, including hanging Christmas balls from our ears like earrings. Yes, even the men of the family take part. When opening gifts, my Mom films each and every one of us to capture our expressions. It can be rather hilarious! We all eat together and after, play games and just enjoy each other's company. I feel this is rather unique in these days and times but would love nothing more than to pass this tradition along to a child.
What Led Us To Adoption
Johnny and I decided to adopt for a couple of reasons. I was told by numerous doctors that I would not be able to children without a egg donor. We both talked and agree that the option to have a egg donor was not for us. We both desire to have a family together and we agreed that there are babies in need of a family. We want to give a child a family full of love and opportunities.
