Hello! We'd like to introduce ourselves! We are Tyler and Rena and we want to thank you for taking the time to read this to learn a little bit about us. We can't begin to imagine how and what you are feeling at this time, but just know how brave, caring and selfless we think you are for considering adoption for your baby. We truly believe that adoption is the path our lives were meant to take, and we are so excited about this next journey in our lives. Even before we were told we would probably never have our own biological children, adoption was something we had talked about many times and have always been excited about. We have so much unconditional love readily waiting to share with a child.
We met over 17 years ago and became good friends. Life took us in different directions for a few years. Thankfully life then brought us back together in 2011, when Rena purchased a home and it just so happened to be right down the street from Tyler's relatives. This time our friendship developed into an amazing relationship and a year and a half later we got married.
We struggled through infertility treatments for a couple of years and were told it was unlikely we would ever have a biological child. We of course were saddened by the news, but we are true believers that everything happens for a reason. We wholeheartedly believe part of God's plan for us is adoption.
Some of our favorite activities include taking our pontoon out on the water, snowmobiling, playing mini golf, kayaking, fishing, taking our fur baby (a puggle named Lucy who is great around children) out for walks and going to the movies. Trying new activities and traveling to new places are also things we enjoy doing together, especially if it involves the outdoors. Tyler also loves anything with a motor and has had a huge love for cars and trucks since childhood, which has also helped guide him to be a successful co-owner of an automobile dealership. Besides outdoor activities, Rena also enjoys cooking, baking and doing little projects around the house.
We grew up with very similar traditions and family values, so spending quality family time together is important to both of us. In today’s busy world, the little things like eating dinner together at the table and chatting about each other’s days are things that we always make sure to take the time to do.
We have a nice ranch-style home and live in kid-friendly neighborhood close to fun parks and great schools. We have a nice yard with plenty of room to be able to run and play with a child. We have 3 bedrooms on the main level so the baby will have its own room close by ours.

What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is something Rena has wanted to do for many years, ever since she volunteered with the Big Brother/Big Sister program during college. We talked about the possibility of adoption soon after we started dating. We then struggled with infertility for a couple of years and realized it was God's plan that we expand our family through the blessing of adoption. When envisioning what our lives as parents would be like, we are both enthusiastic about being hands on parents and making sure our child always knows how loved they are. We are both fortunate to have jobs that allow for flexible schedules, which is important to us so we can both always be sure to be present in our child’s life. Considering how much we enjoy spending time with our nephew, niece and other family and friend’s children, we cannot imagine how wonderful the gift of being parents would be.
Thank you again for taking the time to read this and we hope to get to know you more! No matter what comes next with your decision, just know that we honestly wish both you and baby nothing but the best!
